Columbia Coaching Conference
NBIAssessments.com was a proud silver level sponsor of the 2025 Columbia Coaching Certification Program (CCCP) Conference that took place at Teachers College Columbia University in New York City on October 14-16! The conference theme was “High-Impact Coaching: In an Era of Hybrid Intelligence” and was attended by 500+ participants. There were 20 sponsors of the conference and this was the 3rd time NBI Assessments was a sponsor. Drs. Krister Lowe, Tony Hacking and Heinz Neethling along with Jeanette Mayer from the NBI team were present to represent at the conference.
NBI Table
Over the three days of the conference, more than 100 participants visited the NBI table. NBI Assessments has a 10+ year partnership with the CCCP and conducts a joint NBI certification program for coaches 1-2 times per year. There are more than one hundred executive coaches from the CCCP program who are certified in the NBI and many came by to visit the table. It was a great opportunity to reconnect and also share the latest developments with the NBI assessments.
At the booth visitors learned about the NBI assessments and certification programs, walked away a “NBI brain” stress ball and also experienced the NBI using an NBI training mat.
Special Guest: Heinz Neetlhing
Also, the son of Dr. Kobus Neethling–Heinz Neethling–joined the NBI Assessments team at the table to help answer questions, share stories and to engage with visitors. Heinz is in the final stages of completing a PhD degree in the area of Leadership at the University of Southern Maine. Heinz is one of the most experienced NBI practitioners around the world and NBI Assessments is looking forward to incorporating him in upcoming Community of Practice calls and events.
The coaching conference also served as a key moment in the evolution of the NBI. Global Insights Consulting, LLC. has taken over the management and oversight of the NBI and the global practitioner community and this conference marked the beginning of the next stage in the fortunes of the NBI.
